About this course

Course objectives

This course is designed for F&B personnel to learn about the principles of food and wine pairing. Learners will be trained to taste various wines and to provide a matching to appropriate food products. Learners will gain knowledge and sensory skills to analyse food flavour profiles and wine flavour profile to provide a match between them

Course description

Upon completion of this unit, learners will attain knowledge and skills in the following areas: 1. Develop an understanding of flavour profiling 2. Develop an understanding of how flavour profiles can be matched 3. Master the art to taste and pair various food and wine 4. Curate simple possible food and wine pairing list.
