Getting to NYP

 

Our campus is located at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 and Avenue 8. Look out for nearby landmarks like the Grassroots Club and Yio Chu Kang MRT station.

Getting to NYP is easy as there are various bus and train routes.

 

Do note that before you can enter campus, you’ll need to proceed through one of the three SafeEntry Centres.
Some gates are closed at the moment due to ongoing COVID-19 safety measures.

By MRT

 

NYP is a five-minute walk from Yio Chu Kang MRT station.

Once you alight, cross over and walk on the sheltered pavement along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8. The pavement leads directly to escalators that will take you into the NYP Atrium.

Upon arriving at the NYP Atrium, you will be guided to the SafeEntry Centre located at the Auditorium.

By Bus

 

NYP is a five-minute walk away from Yio Chu Kang Bus Terminal. Bus services available at Yio Chu Kang Bus Terminal includes: 13, 70, 72, 76, 162 and 825. Once you alight, cross over and walk on the sheltered pavement along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8. The pavement leads directly to escalators that will take you into the NYP atrium.

Upon arriving at the atrium, you will be guided to the SafeEntry Centre located at the Auditorium.

Other bus services that lead to NYP:

Along Avenue 5: 45, 50, 159 and 265
Along Avenue 6: 45, 86, 128, 851, 853 and NR1

 

If you're alighting along Avenue 5 and 6, you may proceed to the SafeEntry Centre (South) located at Blk P1 level 2.

By Car, Taxi or Private Hire Vehicle

You can enter our campus via two entrances - along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 (opposite Anderson Secondary School) or along Avenue 9 (after the Ang Mo Kio Police Station and Ang Mo Kio Street 65).

If you're coming from the city via the Central Expressway (CTE), take Exit 12B and turn into Avenue 5. If you’re coming from the opposite direction, take Exit 14 and turn into Avenue 5.

You are advised to drop off and have your temperature taken at the SafeEntry Centre located at Covered Carpark at Blk P1 (Avenue 5 Entrance). 

Note: The Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8 vehicular entrance is closed until further notice.

Dropping Off (to facilitate Safety Measures):

If you are getting dropped off by family members at NYP, please approach the Student Care & Guidance office (SCG) or any SEN Counsellor for a car label - this will let you drop off within campus at a more convenient location.

  • Please display the car label prominently on the dashboard or windscreen as you enter the campus.
  • Your family members can then proceed into campus to drop you off at a convenient location, before they exit campus. 

 

Campus Opening Hours

 

The NYP Campus is open from 7:30am – 7:30pm* on weekdays, and closed on weekends and Public Holidays.

*In view of the COVID-19 situation, only NYP staff, students and approved visitors may access the campus.
