Course Aims
This course aims to comprehensively address issues of environmental fit for seniors and/or persons with cognitive impairment associated with dementia and their families.
Participants will be introduced to various elderly- and dementia-inclusive technology / IOT and environmental design in the living space which plays a critical role in catering for active interaction between the person and environment.
This course is suitable for caregivers, care/service providers, builders, architects and designers. It is also relevant to those who wish to acquire more knowledge on how to maximise environmental congruence functionally and psycho-socially and making environmental adjustments to the person’s changing health/age status.
