Development & Marketing of Graviola (Sour Sop) Leaf Tea & Gac Mixed Fruit Juice
These two products were developed for the local and export market, with the objective of offering an alternative and healthier beverage for the general public and school children.
Besides having an original and palatable flavour, minerals and vitamins are effectively preserved – which helped the product obtained Health Promotional Board’s Healthier Choice stamp of approval.
A retort pouch was designed to hold the drinks. This pouch is a packaging made from a laminate of flexible plastic and metal foils. It allows the sterile packaging of a wide variety of food and drink handled by aseptic processing, and is used as an alternative to traditional industrial canning methods.
