This module provides learners with knowledge in the structure of the harmonised system (HS) – an internationally-standardised system of names and numbers used to classify traded products for import and export. The learners will be taught to apply the techniques and rules used in classification in finding the appropriate codes for different types of goods. Common mistakes and best practices will also be shared.
