About the Course
The Diploma in Medicinal Chemistry course aims to provide students with chemistry knowledge and technical skills in synthesizing, purifying and analysing compounds which are relevant for pursuing careers such as quality assurance/quality control technicians, laboratory technologists and technical sales executives in pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
Graduates from the Diploma in Medicinal Chemistry will be able to gain employment as:
Research Officers / Associates in pharmaceutical and chemical companies, biotechnology start-ups as well as research organizations;
Technical Specialists / Officers in government statutory boards and institutes of higher education; and
Sales & Marketing Executives in pharmaceutical, chemical and analytical instrument companies.
