The Specialist Diploma in Nutrition Science course aims to equip the food and nutrition professionals with the in-depth knowledge and skills in nutrition research methods, nutrition analysis, community nutrition & communication, as well as food labelling and requirements. The skills and attributes will allow them to contribute effectively in nutrition research & food product development, applied nutrition & food marketing in food science, and public health promotion.
Participants who meet the assessment and attendance requirements of the four modules under each PDC will be awarded the respective post-diploma certificate.
Participants will be awarded the Specialist Diploma in Nutrition Science upon successful completion of the 2 PDCs. The award of the Specialist Diploma is governed by the Polytechnic’s examinations rules and regulations.
