Admission Requirements
Applicants should have at least a degree or diploma in one of the areas - IT, ICT Sector, design, film, video production, animation, motion graphics, art or design. Applicants with working experience in the areas of relevance mentioned above are preferred.
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on:
(i) Evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience; OR
(ii) Supporting evidence of competency readiness.
Suitable applicants who are shortlisted will have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the rights to shortlist and admit applicants.
This specialist diploma in Visual Effects is suitable for participants with backgrounds in: 3D Generalist, 3D Modeller, 3D Games Artist, Games Programming, Technical Artist, VFX Artist, FX Technical Director, CG Artist, Visual Effects, Virtual Production and Digital Media Production.
