• Admission Requirements

    To be eligible for the programme, the applicant must be a fresh polytechnic graduate (Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident) or post NS graduates within 12 months to 36 months of their ORD, from one of the five polytechnics. He/She has to meet the minimum requirements of the Earn & Learn Programme (ELP) and be employed by a participating company.

    Fresh polytechnic graduates are defined as individuals who are hired by the participating companies within 12 months to 36 months of their graduation from the polytechnic (graduation date as stated on the Diploma certificate). This group includes existing employees of the participating companies who have graduated from the polytechnic within the same period. For male participants who need to serve National Service, the 12 month period will start from the ORD. Participants who are fresh Singaporean graduates within 12 months to 36 months will be eligible for a sign-on incentive of $5,000 (terms and conditions apply) when they are successfully placed on the Programme.

    Polytechnic graduates from the following courses or Manufacturing/Mechanical equivalent local polytechnic diploma courses are eligible to apply for the programme:

    • Diploma in Digital & Precision Engineering or Aeronautical & Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Polytechnic
    • Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering, Nanyang Polytechnic/Temasek Polytechnic
    • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Singapore Polytechnic/Ngee Ann Polytechnic
    • Diploma in Aerospace Engineering, Republic Polytechnic/Temasek Polytechnic
    • Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering, Singapore Polytechnic
    • Diploma in Aerospace Technology, Ngee Ann Polytechnic

    Participants of the Earn & Learn Programme will not need to pay any course fees. The course fees will be borne by their employers. Public mode participants are non-company-sponsored or unemployed, will need to pay the course fees according to the public rates.

     

    Note

    The following supplementary fees (subject to annual review and change) will be charged:

    • Insurance fee of $4.30 per academic year

    The course fees will be reviewed by MOE on an annual basis and adjusted accordingly.
