About Us
The National Youth Achievement Award (NYAA) is an exciting leadership development programme that provides participants with opportunities and platforms to develop their potential to the fullest! It is a holistic, well-balanced and non-competitive programme of voluntary leisure time activities.
It is designed to provide youths between the ages of 13 to 30 with a platform to:
- Develop personal qualities such as self-reliance, perseverance and a sense of responsibility.
- Discover new skills and interests through Service Learning, Outdoor Appreciation and Healthy Living.
- Make a positive impact to themselves, their communities and to the world.
- Serve their communities by challenging themselves to take on leadership roles in their own community service projects
The prestigious NYAA Gold Award is well-recognised by over 130 countries. It is a meaningful achievement that strengthens your portfolio and opens up opportunities. Awardees will receive the award from the President of the Republic of Singapore!
The Nanyang Polytechnic NYAA Students’ Club (NYAA SC) guides members in their NYAA Gold Award Journey by having a support group in addition to organising activities and curating opportunities that fulfil award requirements. Members will get to participate in exciting activities and camps, grow holistically as individuals, gain lifelong friendships and take on projects they have a passion for!
