Fascinated by the intricacies of the human body? If you said yes to any of these, then NYP’s School of Health & Social Sciences (SHSS) is the place for you.
We are Singapore’s largest and most well-established institution training registered nurses. We are also the only polytechnic to offer courses in Oral Health Therapy, Social Work and Paramedicine for post O-Levels or Nitec learners.
For post-diploma studies, we offer more than 20 Advanced and Specialist Diplomas in various nursing specialisations and Paramedicine. At SHSS, we emphasise being a family. One of our experienced faculty members will become your personal mentor. He/she will guide you through your polytechnic years, and help you navigate the path ahead. You will also see seniors coming back to enrich their junior colleagues, sharing real-world stories and encounters. You will become part of a powerful alumni; fellow NYP graduates are in healthcare and social work institutions across Singapore, and many are successful leaders and professionals making a real impact on our community.
Our school boasts state-of-the-art facilities to simulate operating theatres and wards.
