Balik Kampung: Digital Gamification Prototype to Combat Social Isolation and Loneliness in Older Adults, 2020

Collaborating with KYDZ International, a group of nursing students came up with a digital game prototype, Balik Kampung, to tackle social isolation and loneliness in older adults. The students, Elfira Binte Ezra Shan, Joleen Ho, Joanne Lee, Marissa Binte Sa'ari, Tan Jia Xin and Edmund Wong presented the project at the Seirei International Research Conference 2021, and were shortlisted for the finals of the Tan Kah Kee Young Inventors’ Award 2021.
