Huawei Competition 2018

Last week, a SIT team consisting of both alumni and student- Li KangLi, Gotwin Tan and Lee Zhen Hao, represented Singapore in the global finals of the annual Huawei Infocomm Technology (ICT) Competition held at Shenzhen China and emerged as Second Runner-up. It was no easy feat by our students given the intensity of the competition and the short training duration they were given. This prestigious competition themed “Connection, Glory, Future” had attracted more than 40,000 participants from 32 countries. While participating teams had to undergo preliminary, national and semi-final rounds before entering the finals, our SIT students were invited by Huawei to join the grand finals after having participated and excelled in a 2-week Huawei network equipment training.
