Entrance Test

1. The Online Entrance Test is jointly organised by the five Polytechnics in Singapore, and will be held on 27 Jan 2027.
2. All shortlisted applicants will be invited to sit for English / Mathematics / Science tests (where applicable).
3. Applicants applying with these qualifications are not required to take any tests:
   • Brunei’s General Certificate of Education - Ordinary Levels
   • IGCSE (English as first language)
   • International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
   • Malaysia's SPM/UEC
4. Applicants may also be exempted from the English Test with these qualification(s):
   • Year 12 English Language subject from native English-speaking countries (USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand): Minimum score: 70%
   • IELTS / IELTS Indicator / IELTS One Skill Retake with minimum score of 6.0, for overall score and each of the four assessment components of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, taken within last 2 years. 
   • TOEFL Internet-Based Test (iBT) / TOEFL iBT ® Special Home Edition with minimum score of 78 (0 - 120 scale) or minimum band score of 4.0 (new 1 - 6 scale) for overall score and each of the four assessment components of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, taken within last 2 years.
