Mr Russell Chan was appointed the Principal & CEO of Nanyang Polytechnic in March 2023. At NYP, he champions applied learning, industry collaboration, and lifelong learning – all to empower students to thrive with purpose in tomorrow’s world.

With over two decades of experience in the public sector, Mr Chan was the Deputy Principal of Ngee Ann Polytechnic before joining NYP. He also held various appointments at the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Manpower, and the-then Singapore Workforce Development Agency.
