Q: What is CO:LAB?

CO:LAB is NYP School of Business Management's newest centre that connects final-year Diploma in Business Management (DBM) students with industry partners. 

Through the Teaching Enterprise Programme (TEP), DBM students from different specialisations – including Marketing, Supply Chain, Human Capital and E-commerce – come together under CO:LAB to solve real business challenges for real companies. Less textbook, more real-world business.

Q: What projects will I work on at CO:LAB?

Through TEP, you’ll work on projects at CO:LAB across five tracks.

1. Human Capital
   Help companies manage and motivate their teams and design programmes that boost employee productivity.
2. Digital Commerce
   Help brands sell more online, build e-commerce strategies, and run live-selling campaigns.
3. Marketing
   Research what customers want, create campaigns across social media and digital platforms, and craft brand stories that generate buzz.
4. Sustainability
   Build frameworks that help companies operate more responsibly and drive measurable change.
5. Events & Experiential Solutions
   Plan corporate events, product launches and brand activations that create memorable experiences.

What makes this unique is that no track works in isolation. You'll collaborate with classmates from different specialisations, on projects that cut across disciplines, mirroring how real cross-functional business teams operate.

Q: Do I need prior experience? 

No. Through TEP, you'll be guided every step of the way by industry-experienced lecturers who understand exactly what you need to succeed. CO:LAB gives you the space to put that learning into action – working on projects directly with industry partners. All you need is curiosity, an innovative mindset, and the willingness to learn.
