Throughout my 1-semester internship at SAS Institute, I gained practical skills through supporting company events and presenting proofs of concept to customers.
As a Pre-Sales intern, I focused on connecting business needs and technical solutions to create value for our customers. I engaged with clients, prepared and presented POCs.
The Business and Financial Technology course fostered my technical skills such as data, application development, cloud solutions, and soft skills such as pitching, presentation, personal branding that allowed me to be flexible and adaptable within any situation.
SAS provided an invaluable platform for exploring cutting-edge fields such as advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI applications. This experience challenged me to consistently step outside my comfort zone and tackle real-world problems. The work I undertook directly contributed value to both the company and its clients.
As a global company, one of the most rewarding aspects of the internship was collaborating with a diverse and talented team that extended across international borders.
This internship has been unforgettable — not only for the invaluable experiences and opportunities that allowed me to contribute meaningfully to the team, but also for the lasting bonds I’ve formed, which I will always hold close to my heart.
