Can I apply?

O-Level students who are eligible for Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) are advised to participate in JAE in January.

  1. All O-level holders may apply for your desired full-time diploma courses through the Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE), except
    • applicants who have accepted the conditional offer of the Early Admissions Exercise (EAE) and met the admissions criteria of the polytechnic course after the release of their final results
    • current NYP students
  2. You will need to meet the course-specific Minimum Entry Requirements (MER).
  3. For selected Design & Media or Business Management courses, you are also required to prepare a digital portfolio and/or portfolio statement.
  4. Note that meeting the MER is not a guarantee that you will be shortlisted. Shortlisting is based on merit and course availability in the year of application.

Selected courses require additional medical check-up or specific test (e.g., manual dexterity test is required for the Diploma in Oral Health Therapy).
