WorldSkills Competition Abu Dhabi 2017

Li Kangli, our student from the Diploma of Cyber Security and Forensics, represented Singapore in the skill area of IT Network and Systems Administration at the 44th WorldSkills Competition held in Abu Dhabi, UAE in Oct 2017.

The WorldSkills competition is a biennial skills competition, dubbed the “Youth Olympics of Skills”, for youths to recognise their talents and skills.

This year, a total of 29 international competitors were challenged on their technical proficiency in Cisco networking, Microsoft Windows and Linux Operating Systems Administration covering wide range of topics from network administration, server administration, IT security and IT resilience, the test projects required theoretical and practical knowledge to implement various technologies to meet business needs.

Amidst stiff competition, Kangli gave his best performance and clinched the Bronze medal for Singapore!
