Virtual Heritage Tour App for CPIB
School of Information Technology

The School of Information Technology (SIT) and Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) have collaborated to design and develop a mobile web-based application to transform visitors' learning experience about CPIB and anti-corruption matters through an immersive and interactive virtual heritage tour.

The development team employed design thinking and agile methodology to come out with a series of fun and interactive heritage tours guided by CPIB's virtual persona, Kopi Lim. Users will start their interactive virtual heritage tours at the virtual replica of the CPIB heritage centre and interact with bite-size multimedia contents along the way. The mobile application also provides a unique augmented reality solution to view and interact with the artefacts and allows visitors to complete their learning journey in a memorable way by taking photo with Kopi Lim and many more.

The virtual heritage tour has an easy-to-use interface and is mobile friendly, giving the visitor greater flexibility during their learning journey with CPIB. You can check out the application here.
