A Greener Supply Chain
School of Business Management

Companies are constantly on the lookout for innovative strategies that can give them that extra edge. And what better way to do that than by embracing sustainability and going green?

The Supply Chain Challenge ++ 2023 had a clear focus on this very idea. With the theme "Gaining Competitive Edge Through Green Supply Chain Management," participating companies were given the task of finding green solutions that could give them that coveted competitive advantage in their respective industries.

The event included companies such as CK Shipping, CWT Integrated, Ebenezer Logistics, Lim Siang Huat, and SFS Global Logistics. A total of 20 teams and 80 learners from Diploma in Business Management (SCM Specialisation) participated, with 9 teams advancing to the semi-finals and 2 teams achieving 4th and 5th place.

Their ideas went beyond simply reducing carbon emissions or implementing recycling programmes. They looked at the bigger picture, considering every aspect of the supply chain and its potential for eco-friendly improvements.
