Expand your global horizons during our overseas study exchanges and educational trips, which range from 1 week to 1 semester. Explore diverse business landscapes, stay at the forefront of international trends, and connect with international peers and industry partners. 

  • Under NYP's Overseas Student Exchange Programme (OSEP), study abroad for one semester in one of 66 University partners in over 20 countries, such as France, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, South Korea, Japan, and more.

During an overseas educational learning programme to China in June 2024, Ms. Olivia Siong (third from left, front row), Senior Correspondent at CNA Beijing Bureau shared her firsthand experiences and valuable insights into China's media landscape.

The group was also introduced to the latest immersive technologies and advancements in media production at Kuaishou (快手科技) and EnlightV (澜景未来媒体中心). The leading media and tech companies shared insights on how they navigated the dynamic Chinese market with innovative business strategies.

Industry Collaborations

Through our partnerships with leading media companies, government agencies, and corporations, we’ll equip you with the skills to create impactful content that informs, entertains, and inspires. Immerse yourself in industry projects, guest lectures and practical training, while fostering a network that opens doors and provides insights into the trends shaping the future of media.

 

Our first-year students, for instance, hone their presentation skills through an SPH Radio workshop, with select participants shadowing nighttime DJs. You’ll also get to sharpen your skills in digital media creation and media business management, and graduate ready to shape the future of media.

Industry Visits

9 students were selected to attend the esteemed Producers’ Summit and Academy Campus Masterclass (under the Asian Academy of Creative Arts). Under the guidance of the ACCA show executive producers, Mr Michael McKay and Ms Fiona McKay, they gained real-world virtual production experience and a greater awareness of the media industry's vast opportunities.
