We went, we competed, and we were placed third at the annual Huawei Infocomm Technology competition! Held in Shenzhen, China, the prestigious competition – themed Connection, Glory, Future – attracted more than 40,000 participants from 32 countries. It was no easy feat by our NYP team given the competition’s intensity and their short training duration. Other participating teams had to undergo preliminary, national and semi-final rounds before entering the finals. But it was a little different for our NYP students. They were invited by Huawei to join the grand finals after participating – and excelling! – in a two-week Huawei network equipment training. One word: Impressive.
