The Global Digital Skills Championships (GDSC) is a competition held in China that aims to promote the development and cultural exchange of young adults in the field of digital skills around the world. This year’s event (in its 3rd edition) is held in Ningbo, China.

Amid challenges such as unfamiliar equipment and software glitches, our student from Diploma in Animation, Games & Visual Effects, Goh Jia Hui, displayed exceptional skill and resilience, securing the Bronze medal. Notably, she was the only international competitor on the podium, with Team China dominating the awards on their home ground.

Jia Hui's performance against strong competitors from China, Finland, Thailand, Japan, Kazakhstan, Canada, and Hong Kong exemplifies true grit and talent. We extend a huge shoutout to coaches Mr. Jason Wang and Mr. Lewis Sang for their outstanding training.
